This post-it note has been sitting on my desk for 12 months:

It was a reminder:

If I wanted to get back to the top, it’d be slow.

One milestone at a time.

To get to $20,000 months, I first need:

• $1,500 months …
• Then $3,000 months
• Then $4,000 months … and so on.

February 2024, when I wrote that post-it note, things were pretty bleak:

• New Niche Site: $0 (I launched it on 28 Feb 2024)
• Main YT Channel Earnings: $145

February 2024 Total: $145

February 2025, I’ve made it to that $3,000 milestone:

• Evergreen/SEO YT Channel 1: $403.06 + $248.80 (info products)
• Evergreen/SEO YT Channel 2: $1122.83
• Evergreen/SEO YT Channel 3: $156.76
• Evergreen/SEO New Niche Site: $1,257.67

February 2025 Total: $3,189.12

Breaking $1k in YT AdSense revenue in February on the main channel felt great, too:

The rest of this email will map out my YouTube content plan - something like: "How to grow an ads-based content business in 2025". Because I still think it's do-able.

How I Grew My Previous Business by $288,000 in 1 year (And How I’ll do it Again)

Things really took off for my previous niche site when I focused on a simple thought process:

• “My site averages $20 per article, per month.”

Therefore:

• “If I publish 100 articles a month, and each one averages $20 per month, I’ll grow my business by $2000 per month.”

The Plan in Motion:

I hired more freelancers. I started making 100 quality articles per month.

For the first few months, things were slow - pages take time to rank, after all.

But I persevered. My math seemed solid.

And it worked.

Within a year, the site was making $24,000 per month more than it was making the same month the previous year.

I kept doing that for several years. The profits kept stacking - until they didn’t.

But The Math is Still Mathing.

Fast forward to March 2025.

The content game is not so easy anymore.

That’s why so many people have left our space.

Here’s my situation:

• “My YouTube channel averages $3 per video per month.”

So, I’ll apply the same logic:

• “If I publish 300 videos a month, and each one averages $3 per month, I’ll grow my business by $900 per month.”

Yes, there will be a 4-6 month drag as the content ages in. Yes, there’s risk profits decline as I scale. Yes, this will all come tumbling down one day, too. (But I’ll make a lot of money in the meantime).

I've got two options:

1. Jump on Twitter and moan about the looming AI apocalypse, or
2. Make money while the sun's still shining.

If I just spent the last 365 days moaning about AI (like too many people have!), I wouldn't have a new $3k per month passive income stream right now.

And if the math holds up, I could have a YouTube portfolio earning $10,800 (12 x $900) more per month this time next year.

That’s my path to $10k.

Call me crazy.

But the math is mathing.
